Sweet Heat Salad Dressing
This is a great change up from standard dressings, who would've expected a kick of spice hidden among those fresh lettuce leaves. I prefer this dressing on a giant plate of fresh garden veggies, definitely a patio party favourite!
1/2 cup olive oil 1/3 cup red wine vinegar 1/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup ketchup 1/2 - 1 tsp hot sauce of your choice (adjust to desired heat) 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp ground black pepper 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1 clove garlic Whisk well until combined. Makes 300ml. Store in fridge. |
